At the 2025 SAA AGM, members voted to make it a condition of membership that all members to be registered on Clubmate and to fully populate their profile. A very large majority of members are already signed up but those who aren’t will be contacted by the club. When our bailiffs come across members who show a paper membership, they will photograph the slip, ask the member to verify the details on it and then take a full face photo of the member. As long as we have a name, a photograph and a few other details on Clubmate, that is sufficient although ideally we would like members to provide an email address as that is how the club will communicate with members.

You will still be able to buy your membership through the tackle shops listed on our website.

SAA’s Facebook group

Members are invited to join our exclusive, members only, Facebook group. To be accepted into the group your membership must be registered on Clubmate.

When asking to join, you will be asked to provide your 6 digit Clubmate membership number (Note, NOT the 4 digit number on shop slips). You MUST answer this, or you will not be accepted into the group. Also, if your Facebook username is not your actual name, please email us at scunnyangling@gmail.com  and tell us who you are.

A reminder to all members that the club holds monthly meetings at the ROAB club, Bottesford Road, Scunthorpe, DN16 3HF, on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30 pm. All members are welcome.
